Our philosophy

The ability to simplify means to eliminate the unnecessary so that the necessary may speak.
~Hans Hofmann

Yoga is an art to be experienced, practiced, felt. The mind rests and the wisdom of the body is let out to reveal itself. Healing comes from the synthesis of body and mind in a safe space.
Drawing from many schools and philosophies, beyond dogma and preconceptions we bring the teachings to simplicity depending on the person we are working with.

Our education

We have been very fortunate to study with some of the greatest teachers around the world, over many years.
We believe that a good teacher is someone who has the experience, education, open mindness and deep caring to help the student benefit from techniques (asanas, meditation, pranayama, visualisation) and take them home, thus creating and sustaining a personal practice with contemplation and curiosity.

“The still waters of a lake reflect the beauty around it. When the mind is still, the beauty of the Self is seen reflected in it.” – BKS Iyengar

“Love creates a communion with life. Love expands us, connects us, sweetens us, ennobles us. Love springs up in tender concern, it blossoms into caring action. It makes beauty out of all we touch. In any moment we can step beyond our small self and embrace each other as beloved parts of a whole.”- Jack Kornfield

Biography

Careen Cassir

Yoga, Qigong & Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner
For over 20 years, I have taught yoga to adults and children, moving through many styles and never losing the curiosity to keep learning. Somewhere along the path, one question became central to my work: how do our emotions and mental states shape our pain, our aging, our disease, our sense of wellbeing?
I found my answer in the ancient science of meridians - Traditional Chinese Medicine - combined with Hatha and Yin Yoga. Learning from my friend and teacher Nathalie Keusseoglou, and further on I developed my own approach to opening and healing, one that meets every body and every level where it is. I’m dedicated to understanding the physical and emotional weight of modern life, and to sharing that understanding - in the classes I teach, the individuals I work with, and the institutions I partner with.
Today, my work takes four forms:
* Collective classes, blending movement, breath, and TCM principles
* Private one-to-one sessions: Qigong, Tuina, acupressure, and clinical TCM protocols
* Institutional partnerships, bringing this work into organisations and communities
* On-line program YoQi

Certified yoga teacher: Hatha Yoga, Mini Me Yoga, Y.O.G.A for YOUTH, Academy of Mindfulness Teaching (AMT), teacher trainings with Sarah Powers - Yin Yoga, Kendreka: Certified Practitioner of Acupressure and Qigong Tuina, practitioner of Psychotherapy Globalist
My approach is intuitive, precise, and rooted in tradition. I work with the body’s own meridians and rhythms, meeting each person exactly where their life and their energy stand today. I believe healing is not one-size fits all - it is a language each body speaks differently, and my role is to help translate it.

Nathalie Keusseoglou

Somatic and Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner

I am a yoga and psychology practitioner with a long standing professional background in trauma-informed work, somatic practices and mindfulness.
My work supports individuals navigating stress, trauma, and life transitions, integrating psychological understanding with body based approaches. I bring both depth of human insight and real world professional experience, shaped by years of practice and earlier work in corporate environments.
